Water Dragon

An important character for the story "Tacit Augury", that my sister and I are working on, Leik is the one marked by the "deity scars" of water from the Dragon Deity. His power was granted to him to aid in the fight against the evil king but instead he joined his army to fight against the rebels that fought to overthrow the evil ruler. Leik is very intelligent and tactical, quickly learning how to fight like a true warrior even at his young age, soon moving up the ranks of the army. The king, seeing Leik's amazing fighting skills and seeing him possess the "deity scars" of water, moved him up to become a Federal Captain, one of the highest ranks in the evil king's army. With a total of 6 Federal Captains, Leik was appointed the position to guard the capital region, directly below the king, where he was given his own army to control, and the greatest honor of guarding the king's palace. The king saw great potential in Leik, and he proved to be one of the most feared Federal Captains, due to the power of the deity scars of water, being used for the wrong cause...

This picture was just lying around my computer, unfinished for the longest time xDDD I finally got around to finishing it and I'm quite proud of the way it came out : ) Leik has been a part of my story "Tacit Augury" for a good while now, but he never had a proper piece dedicated to him and this is the first time I've colored him! I already had an idea of how his colors would be and luckily it wasn't too difficult to get them down as I imagined! : DDD Leik, having the deity scars of the Water Dragon deity, is actually a rival counterpart for Yuusuke, wolf-soul17.deviantart.com/art… who holds the deity scars of fire from the Phoenix deity. I don't want to spoil too much of the story but Leik and Yuusuke share some background story that ties them together as rivals, and enemies, later in the story. Leik's blue deity scars are in his neck, trailing from the very bottom of his chin, to around his collarbones and upper back, glowing bright blue as he uses the power of his deity scars, allowing him to manipulate and create from small to large masses of water at will. Definitely expect to see more of Leik in the future! Hope you all enjoy! ^^
